Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Faith Forged Digital, LLC ("we," "our," or "us") respects the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit and use the Faith Forged Family application (the "Service"). Please read this privacy policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access the application.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information through the Application:

• Account information: The email address and password used to create your household account. Passwords are stored only as salted one-way hashes; we never store or display your password.
• Household profile information: The names, roles (adult or child), profile emoji or photo, and optional profile PINs of every member you add to your household.
• Photos: If you upload a profile picture, that image is stored with your household profile. Profile photos are optional.
• User-generated content: Chores, calendar events, grocery and packing lists, rewards, checklists, pet care records, important dates, lend/borrow records, and household reference information you enter.
• Device identifiers for notifications: If you enable notifications, we store the push token issued by Google Firebase Cloud Messaging for that device so we can deliver reminders. This token is deleted when you sign out or delete your account.
• Purchase information: Your subscription status and plan identifier. Payment is processed by Google Play; we never receive or store your payment card details.
• Technical data: IP address, approximate time zone, browser and operating system, and access times, used to operate and secure the Service.

2a. Children's Information

Faith Forged Family is designed to be set up and managed by a parent or guardian. Child profiles are created by the account owner, not by children themselves. A child profile contains only the information the account owner chooses to enter -- typically a first name, an emoji or photo, and chore and reward activity.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children, we do not serve advertising of any kind, and we do not use household or child data to build advertising profiles. Subscription purchase flows are shown only on adult-managed screens. A parent or guardian may review, correct, or permanently delete any child profile at any time from the Family screen, or delete the entire household using the link in Section 7.

If you believe a child has provided us information directly, contact us at support@faithforgeddigital.com and we will delete it.

3. Use of Your Information

Having accurate information about you permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we may use information collected about you via the Application to:

• Create and manage your account and family workspace.
• Facilitate account creation and logon process.
• Deliver targeted notifications regarding chores, events, and family activities.
• Monitor and analyze usage and trends to improve your experience with the Application.
• Protect against fraudulent transactions, monitor against theft, and protect against criminal activity.

4. Disclosure of Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising purposes. We share data only with the service providers required to operate the Application, and only to the extent needed:

• Supabase: Database and authentication hosting. Stores your household account and all content you enter.
• Vercel: Application hosting. Processes requests and server logs.
• Google Firebase Cloud Messaging: Delivers push notifications to devices you have opted in on.
• RevenueCat and Google Play Billing: Manage and validate your subscription. They receive your household account identifier and purchase status.
• Resend: Delivers transactional email reminders, where enabled.
• By law or to protect rights: If disclosure is necessary to respond to legal process, investigate violations of our policies, or protect the rights, property, and safety of others.

Some pages load fonts and interface libraries from Google Fonts, cdnjs, and jsDelivr. These providers receive your IP address as part of serving those files. They receive no household content.

5. Data Security and Retention

All traffic between your device and our servers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. Account passwords are stored as salted one-way hashes. Session identifiers are cryptographically signed.

We retain your household data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your household record and all associated profiles, chores, events, lists, and notification tokens are permanently deleted. Server logs containing IP addresses are retained for up to 30 days for security and diagnostics.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights

You may access and correct all household data directly in the Application at any time. You may also request a copy of your data, or ask us to delete it, by contacting support@faithforgeddigital.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under the GDPR or the CCPA, including the right to object to processing and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. We do not sell personal information as that term is defined under the CCPA.

7. Deleting Your Account and Data

You can permanently delete your household account and everything in it at any time. Open Settings inside the app and choose "Delete account", or visit the link below and sign in. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

Request account deletion

Deleting your account removes your household record, every family profile, all chores, events, lists, rewards, checklists, pet records, household information, and all stored notification tokens. It does not cancel your Google Play subscription -- cancel that separately in the Google Play Store to stop future billing.
